Many Waters is great for outings!
From picnics on the Boston Harbor Islands to swimming, sightseeing, harbor tours or whale watching, Many Waters is a great place to be on a hot summer day! And after a fun day, Many Waters is great for relaxing on a sunset harbor cruise. The Boston Harbor Islands are now a federal state park, you can visit most of them and even go ashore to hike or have a picnic. But, chances are, what the kids really want is to anchor up in one of the harbor's many swimming spots and get out the water toys. Many Waters has a 3-foot blowup tube and optional 9-foot inflatable dingy with 5-hp engine. Don't forget to bring a towel and your swim suit. There is ample time on full-day outings to visit Boston's north or south shore for the best beaches and restaurants. Destinations include: Marblehead, Salem and Gloucester north of Boston and Hull, Cohasset and Situate south of Boston. Stellwagen Bank is one of the top 10 sites worldwide for whale watching. This custom outing finds the whales and gets you as close as legally allowed. This trip can also be combined with a fishing charter on Stellwagen Bank to fish for "whale" Cod or fall Tuna. Soft drinks and snacks are provided on outings but you'll need to pack your own lunch. Below are some photos of previous outings.
